Cognifiy is designed to ensure that learners have no trouble learning due to repeated mistakes in the exam period. Students lose many marks in their examinations due to the same mistake regardless of them being knowledgeable. No matter how many times the student revises or practices questions and even despite having private tutors, he keeps committing the same error. The problem lies in the lack of a method to pinpoint the source of the error and address it accordingly. The software analyzes the process of students coming up with their solutions, and in case there is a mistake, it labels its nature – whether it was a failure to interpret the requirements of the task correctly, misconception or lack of knowledge, or procedural errors. The platform then creates an individualized error profile which serves as the basis for adaptive practice exercises with various question types, helping the learner overcome his shortcomings. Moreover, it provides concise and accurate explanations focusing specifically on a certain step in solving the question, thus providing the best possible learning experience. The website is available online and on mobile devices and offers curriculum-based content (IB MYP, DP, and CP). Cognifiy incorporates several progress dashboards displaying the learner's weakest areas along with a mastery level. The uniqueness of Cognifiy lies in its approach to dealing with repetitive mistakes with continuous behavior analysis, as opposed to increasing the accuracy of solutions temporarily. With the collection of such mistakes, it transforms them into usable information to create a personalized adaptive system. In the near future, the company wants to expand its subject range, improve the capabilities of the AI algorithm, provide analytical services for school staff, and scale globally by working with IB institutions, among other plans.
